Whew! The end of the summer was intensely chaotic…in case you missed it, my husband and I bought a house in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We also made the decision for me to stay behind in Texas with the kids so that our oldest could go to school and have access to opportunities unavailable to her in North Carolina.

It’s a decision I agonize over at least once a day, but when I pick up my daughter from school each afternoon I realize all over again that we made the best decision for our family at this time. I’m very grateful and lucky to have my mother around to help me, too.

Aside from our sixth move in four years, I’ve also become a LuLaRoe Consultant! It’s super exciting and I love this company so much and am so excited to share these amazing clothes with everyone. Seriously — if you haven’t tried a pair of leggings, do it. SO COMFY.

So between the family, tarot reading and LuLaRoe, where does that leave my writing??

I took last year off from “serious” writing, but I’m anxious to get back to it — it is my first love and passion and always will be. Thankfully, my schedule is pretty flexible so I actually find myself with plenty of time to devote to writing.

I’m jumping back in this November with NaNoWriMo — I’m working on a sci-fantasy that I’m totally excited about.
